Minimalism has proved beneficial to my life in surprising ways. It’s hard to believe that the simple act of discarding clutter has helped shape my life so much, but here we are!

Lately I have been building a vision of what I want my future to look like.

I started this blog with trepidation. I had massive anxiety about how my work would be viewed and how any judgement could potentially affect my life. I pushed through these limiting fears, and with time, I realised that most of the response to my blog was positive.

The small act of working toward something despite my anxiety about it helped me to build confidence and form new goals. I pushed through new fears and I started my YouTube channel and my Patreon account.

If there is something out there that you want to be doing, remember that you are your own greatest critic. If you fear judgement from others, know that they can only judge you as harshly as you have already judged yourself.

Know also, that if you work authentically toward something, the risk is always worth it, even if in the end you don’t perceive to have succeeded in the initial goal. Even the act of pushing through anxieties and limiting beliefs teaches you strength and resilience. It’s also better that you try and fail a million times, than to live your life asking ‘what if?’

This is something I have learnt through minimalism. Minimalism helps me stay focused by eliminating distractions such as fear and my own mental gibberish. Minimalism has helped me define my priorities. Minimalism has taught me the value of time.

If there is something out there you want to do, do it now!
